Operations and Sales Manager

Position Overview: The Operations Sales Manager is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and optimising the operational aspects of e3 while providing essential sales support. The role requires effective leadership, organisational skills, and the ability to ensure seamless business operations, manage resources, and contribute to the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Develop, implement, and refine operational strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of e3.

  • Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth operations, timely delivery of products/services, shipping and customer satisfaction.

  • Identify areas for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased productivity.

Sales Administrative Support:

  • Provide vital administrative support to sales, including maintaining sales records, generating reports, and managing customer inquiries.

  • Coordinate and schedule sales meetings, appointments, and follow-ups.

  • Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.

  • Handle outbound inquiries to existing customers, address their needs, and explore opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

  • Efficiently process and manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and manage the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to team members to enhance their performance and professional growth.

  • Set clear goals and objectives for the team and monitor progress to achieve targets.

Vendor and Supplier Relations:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of materials and services.

  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to optimize operational costs.

  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.

Travel and Client Engagement:

  • Engage in occasional travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and maintain relationships.

  • Collaborate with the CEO to develop and nurture client relationships, addressing their needs and concerns.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Sales or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably within a sales-focused environment.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams.

  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficiency in using software tools for sales reporting and administrative tasks.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to analyse data, make informed decisions, and solve problems effectively.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

  • Proactive attitude with the ability to adapt to dynamic business environments.

  • Integrity, honesty, and a strong work ethic.

POSITION DETAILS

Job Type: Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Temp to perm

Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $60,088.58 – $152,263.23 per year

Expected hours: 15 – 36 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Morning shift
